Hi kayjay,

I took B12 shots for 3 months. My labs confirmed that my levels went from low to more than sufficient but I did not feel any change in my symptoms or energy levels. So, I stopped taking them. I do know that others have gained better energy levels and relief from some symptoms. I think this another trial and error to see if it works for you.

I have taken them for 12 years. It keeps my brain awake. I tried going a few months without it, just because I wanted to see what effect it was having on how I feel, and I definitely got more tired. After I restarted them, I was more alert again.

Kayjay:

My daughter has taken B12 shots once a month for the last 3 months. Her blood tests confirm that her B12 levels are within normal now. She has not noticed any improvement but they haven't caused her any adverse side effects either (except for the day after the shots she notices that her tummy is a little upset). She is going to continue them.

Good luck!!!

I used to get B-12 shots to keep my levels up.

I now use the sub-lingual liquid vitamins & they work just as well.

Have you tried these yet? Much easier than shots!

I was wondering about these. If your levels are find, do you still get the shots? Just wondering. My energy is really low and my fatigue and I wanted to try them. But my levles are normal.

I take b12 shots for a deficiency and to keep me from being anemic. I do them once weekly. I do not know about energy but I can tell when I forget or do not take them. I get cranky, and moody. I get horrible headaches and bruise so easily.

There is something about b12 in these illneses. Some say its because some have elevated NO and this helps dampen that. But there might be more to it such as antioxidant activity, etc.?
